Dramatic accident at Felsőpáhok: car hits guardrail 🚗

On main road 760, an important approach to the western basin of Lake Balaton, a car hit the guardrail at kilometre 7 near Felsőpáhok, immediately disrupting traffic to and from the shore.

Bystanders de-energised the vehicle before Keszthely professional firefighters arrived. Alsópáhok volunteers joined partner services and cleared the scene quickly. The crash caused congestion on the critical Keszthely–Hévíz link, especially painful on summer weekends.

Road 760 carries tourists heading to beaches, Hévíz thermal baths and Keszthely centre. Even a short closure can delay holiday plans or daily errands.
