Tree stops car between Keszthely and Cserszegtomaj 🌳

An accident on the road between Keszthely and neighbouring Cserszegtomaj on the western shore briefly halted traffic, especially sensitive on summer weekends for those heading to the lake. A car hit a tree and overturned on the connecting road. Two people were in the vehicle. Keszthely professional firefighters performed technical rescue, stabilising the car and freeing the occupants. Ambulance crews treated the injured immediately. The section is an important side route around Lake Balaton. Drivers to the western shore often use it to avoid main-road congestion. The temporary closure caused delays between locals and lakeside holidaymakers. Thanks to rapid intervention traffic restarted soon. The case reminds drivers to stay alert on smaller Balaton approach roads in summer.
