Two cars collide in Keszthely – what happened? 🚨

BalatonLife

Keszthely, one of the most popular resort towns on Lake Balaton's western shore, is once again at the centre of traffic accidents. Two cars collided at the junction of Madách Street and Római Road, and one vehicle overturned. The incident quickly drew attention because this junction is a sensitive point in local traffic, with many people passing daily towards the beaches or town centre.

Fortunately all passengers in both cars got out of the wreckage, so there were no personal injuries. Emergency services and Keszthely professional firefighters arrived immediately and de-energised the vehicles for safety. Police closed the junction, temporarily causing disruption in surrounding streets.

Such accidents particularly affect lakeside communities in summer. Keszthely has many tourists arriving by car, and traffic is already heavy on coastal routes. Incidents like this not only complicate daily life for locals but can also affect holidaymakers' plans if the scene investigation takes longer.

Firefighters' rapid response again prevented more serious damage. For residents and Balaton visitors it is an important reminder to drive carefully at busy junctions. 🚨
