Two cars collide in Csopak beside Lake Balaton 💥

BalatonLife

Csopak, one of the most popular resorts on the northern Balaton shore, began the day with unusual traffic disruption: two cars collided at the junction of main road 71 and Mandulavirág Street. Mid-summer season means already dense lake traffic, so locals and guests alike feel the impact.

Balatonfüred municipal firefighters arrived quickly and de-energised one damaged vehicle. The affected section of road 71 was fully closed with diverted traffic, significantly affecting travel between northern shore towns 🚗.

The closure especially jams the Veszprém–Balatonfüred corridor, a main northern route to beaches, restaurants and neighbouring villages. Short-term inconvenience for holidaymakers and residents heading to programmes.

Authorities are clearing the scene to restore order. The case underlines careful driving in summer traffic.
