Danger can also lurk in the quiet settlements of the Balaton highlands: in Nemesvámos, close to the northern bay of the lake, in Kossuth Lajos Street the entire extension of a family house burned down 🔥. Due to the proximity of the hills of Veszprém, this particularly affects life on the shores of Lake Balaton, as many people go to Füred or Csopak to relax.

The firefighters reacted quickly: four units of the Veszprém professional fire department went out and used three water jets to put out the flames in the approximately fifty square meter building. Fortunately, the fire did not spread to the neighboring family home, but solar panels were also found on the roof, and the firefighters rescued two household gas cylinders from inside. The quick intervention prevented a bigger problem, no one was injured.

In the Balaton region, where more and more people are installing solar panels on their vacation homes for sustainable energy, this case is an important warning ⚠️.
