Cecília Rogán sells her Balaton vineyard – why? 🍇

An interesting real estate transaction is currently taking place in Tihany, one of the most iconic settlements on the northern shore of Lake Balaton. Cecília Rogán, the renowned Hungarian businesswoman, has decided to part with part of her vineyard on the picturesque Tihany Peninsula.

According to the official notice, the sale of the area is already underway. Tihany’s special microclimate and traditional viticulture have attracted winemakers and visitors alike for decades. The parcels now offered for sale may also be significant for local winemaking, as the slopes of the peninsula offer excellent conditions for quality grape cultivation.

The change may be interesting for locals from several perspectives.
