On June 22, 2026, at dawn, precisely at 5:45 a.m., three young boys stole two chairs from a buffet on Mikszáth Kálmán Street using two bicycles, according to the Siófok police.

The footage clearly shows the boys acting quickly: one lifts the chairs while the others keep the bicycles ready. The incident occurred near the Balatonszárszó beach, where many tourists relax daily during the summer season. Although the low-value theft caused no major financial damage, it raises questions about how secure lakeside facilities are in the early morning hours.
