Balaton Resolutions That Bring Exciting Changes 🌊

The municipality of Balatonakarattya made several important decisions at its recent meeting, which directly affect the daily life and development of the Balaton-side settlement. Among the issues on the agenda of the representative body, the infrastructural future of the settlement and the operation of local leadership received special attention.

First, the body withdrew its previous resolution No. 59/2025. (VII. 9.) and amended resolution No. 60/2025. (VII. 9.) to regulate the cost reimbursement and salary of the full-time deputy mayor. These steps serve the transparency and efficiency of local government operations for the residents of Balatonakarattya.

Particularly important is the position adopted regarding the new railway station planned for Balatonakarattya 🚉. For the settlement on the northern shore of Balaton, better rail connections can significantly increase tourist appeal, making it easier for visitors to reach the lake. This could have a positive long-term impact on local businesses and Balaton-side tourism alike.
