According to the official information from the Aszófői Kirendeltség, the affected producers must thoroughly study the document entitled “Mandatory protection against golden yellows (FD) in the Balatonfüred-Szőlősi Hegyközség”. To prevent the spread of the disease, every grape grower must comply with the regulations to protect their plantations.

This step is particularly important for local farmers, as the wines of the Balaton-felvidék and the related tourism represent a significant source of income for the region. Failure to prevent the disease endangers not only individual farms but also the reputation of the entire community.
