Felsőörs new website: Gateway to the Balaton shore 🌊
The community of Felsőörs, located on the northern shore of Lake Balaton, continues to place great emphasis on preserving local traditions and involving young people this year as well. The municipality invites interested parties to the celebration starting at 5 p.m. on August 20, 2026, where the welcome of the Young Citizens will also take place.
The event awaits families and locals in the Civilház courtyard. This occasion offers an excellent opportunity for the residents of the Balaton-side settlement to celebrate the national holiday together, while also officially welcoming the members of the younger generation into the community. One important element of lakeside lifestyle is precisely this close community bond that spans generations.
In recent times, the municipality has also amended several local regulations, including dog-keeping rules, the building ban, and organizational operating provisions. These decisions directly affect the daily life of the Balaton settlement, whether regarding dog ownership or area development. In addition, the implementation of the 2025 budget has been completed, laying the foundation for the investments of the coming period.
The celebration held in the Civilház courtyard offers a great opportunity for Balaton holidaymakers and locals to celebrate together. The welcome of the young people emphasizes that Felsőörs aims to remain a livable, family-friendly community on the shore of the lake in the future 🌊.
