Will Balaton Disappear? Experts Answer 🌊

Therefore, it is worth preparing in time for the possibility of external water replenishment so that tourism and the local economy do not suffer damage during extreme periods 🌊.

Appropriate water levels are also important for water quality: at lower water levels, the risk of algal blooms may be higher, directly affecting beaches and anglers alike. The usual water level is part of the Balaton quality of life, so sustainable regulation is inevitable in the long term.
