No electricity at Balaton? September notifications from 2026 ⚡

However, due to E.ON network construction works, power outages are to be expected in several locations in the region in September 2026.

The aim of the developments is to increase long-term supply security, but in the short term they may cause inconvenience in homes and businesses around Lake Balaton. During the month, between 1 and 30 September, maintenance is planned at several times, which may affect daily routines, refrigeration equipment or local service points.

Particularly important is the Tuesday working day on 8 September: power outage is expected between 8:00 and 13:00 in Búzavirág utca, Csillag utca, Diófa utca, Ezerjó köz, Hegyalja utca, Jegenye köz and the Kerme area. Local residents are advised to prepare alternative solutions for this period, such as using flashlights or battery-powered devices.
