Balatonederics Award: Who Deserves It? Suggest It Yourself! 🌟

Balatonederics, one of the gems of the Balaton Uplands, has always distinguished itself by making its community spirit and voluntary cooperation an integral part of lakeside life. Now the municipality is strengthening this tradition with another gesture.

Based on Decree No. 8/2024. (X.18.), the honorary title “For Balatonederics” has been established. This recognition may be awarded to persons of impeccable record, civil organizations, self-organizing communities or social organizations whose work and activities have served the development and good reputation of the settlement over a longer period.

The municipality now calls on the residents of Balatonederics, civil organizations and communities to submit proposals for those who may deserve the title. The initiative provides an opportunity to officially recognize local value-creating efforts.

Such recognitions are particularly important in the Balaton region, where community activity directly contributes to the livability and attractiveness of lakeside settlements. 🏅 By submitting proposals, locals actively shape which values will be highlighted in the future as well.
