Balaton Representatives' Wealth: What Do the Declarations Reveal?

The municipality of Zalahaláp, near the Balaton Uplands, has published the asset declarations of the members of the representative body in accordance with legal requirements.

Based on Section 39 (3) of Act CLXXXIX of 2011, the transparency of the financial situation of local decision-makers is thus ensured in the settlements around Lake Balaton as well.

This practice strengthens community trust in the villages of the region, where open handling of local affairs is particularly important for residents.
