Mysterious Balaton explosion: two suspects under house arrest 🕵️

The court placed T. Tibor, who once played a decisive role on the northern shore of Lake Balaton, under criminal supervision equivalent to house arrest in the case of the 1997 explosion of Péter Molnár. The man from Ajka is suspected of incitement by the National Investigation Office, after a testimony according to which he and Veszprémi Jimmy jointly commissioned the assassination.

The case brings to the surface again the underworld conflicts of the Balaton region in the 1990s, when the rivalry between Péter Molnár and the Veszprém-Balaton circles intensified after the redistribution of the region's nightlife. T. Tibor's position strengthened in the region in the early 2000s.

B. Roland, who was allegedly involved in the execution of the assassination, was also placed under criminal supervision.
