Why is everyone talking about Zánka? The new sensation of Lake Balaton! 🌊

Zánka, the popular resort located on the northern shore of Lake Balaton, is once again in the spotlight of the local community. The municipality of the settlement is holding its next representative body meeting on September 14 at 3:30 PM at the Town Hall, where important issues affecting Balaton life will be discussed.

The meeting venue is the usual one: 8251 Zánka, Iskola utca 11., in the council chamber. Within the framework of the public meeting, the representatives may make decisions serving the interests of local residents and visitors to Lake Balaton. However, according to the law on local governments in Hungary, one agenda item will be discussed in a closed session.

Such council meetings are particularly important for the settlements along Lake Balaton, as this is where decisions are made about the maintenance of beaches, tourism developments or the fate of community programs. In the case of Zánka, the decisions directly affect the summer season and the daily lives of locals.
