Attention Balaton residents: E.ON power outage in October ⚡

Important information for residents of Balaton-side settlements, including Balatonalmádi and neighboring Alsóörs, is that a short power outage is expected in early October due to planned network development. This intervention serves the long-term reliability of the region's electricity supply, especially in the holiday areas around the lake.

On Friday, October 2, 2026, between 8 and 16 hours the power will be switched off due to network reconstruction. The affected properties are exclusively the addresses located along Alsóörsi határút: numbers 1., 10., 11., 12., 13. and 14., as well as the plots marked HRSZ:2775/2 and HRSZ:2742/A.

Residents of homes near Balaton should prepare in advance for this day: charge their electronic devices, take care of refrigerator contents and consider purchasing battery-powered lighting. Since the action affects only a few properties, the operation of surrounding streets and lakeside service providers will not be disrupted.
