Unfortunately, at such times a form of fraud is increasingly appearing in which residents are persuaded to have work carried out with misleading promises.

⚠️ Attention! According to our information, individuals are approaching residents in the settlement who first promise a fee of 30,000 forints for carrying out sewer work. After the work is completed, however, they demand 100,000 forints or even higher amounts. A report has already been filed in the matter.

Local residents must therefore proceed with particular caution. Always request a written, clear quotation before any work is carried out and under no circumstances agree to a significantly increased amount afterwards. This method not only causes financial damage but also creates distrust towards service providers in the Balaton region communities.

In the Balaton settlements, where there is a lot of seasonal work and tasks requiring quick solutions, it is especially important that residents remain cautious. The local municipality and the police are also asking the people of Balatonszárszó to report suspicious offers to the authorities immediately. Only in this way can we protect each other and the peace of the Balaton region.
