Búzavirág Népdalkör Celebrated Its Twentieth Birthday in Felsőörs

Felsőörs celebrated the twentieth birthday of the Búzavirág Népdalkör on October 10 at Malomvölgy Általános Iskola. Former and current members attended the celebration, along with guest singers from Balatonfűzfő and Balatonfüred, Bánó Tamás, Somogyi-Strenner Viktória and Szerdahelyi Luca, as well as friends and the song circle’s helpers.

Tislér Anikó, secretary of the Felsőörsért Közalapítvány and member of the song circle, and Kenézné Berei Györgyi, former mayor of the settlement, recalled the founding period. Mayor Lengyel Kálmán greeted the celebrants, followed by a cheerful lunch and cake; afterwards the guests sang to accordion accompaniment in the school dining hall.
