Five Hundred Participants Expected for the 65-Kilometer Tour from Balatonfüred

Five hundred participants are expected for the largest cycling tour of the autumn at Lake Balaton, which will be held in Balatonfüred on October 24. The 65-kilometer experience tour starts and ends at the Balaton Leisure Center.

80 percent of the route runs on high-quality cycle paths and can be completed with any type of bicycle. The field is secured by organizers, civil guards, and police. The route leads from Balatonfüred via Csopak, Paloznak, Lovas, and Alsóörs towards Veszprém, then returns via Szentkirályszabadja, Litér, Balatonfűzfő, and Balatonalmádi.

The tour is organized by András Harangvölgyi. Participants can ride on a signposted route, where refreshment stations and a mobile bicycle repair service await them. Everyone receives a medal at the finish. The total elevation gain is approximately 600 meters.
