In Siófok, 527 kindergarten children for 674 places

In Siófok, the number of preschool-aged children decreases year by year; currently, 527 preschool-aged children are allocated to 674 kindergarten places.

According to current legislation, kindergarten admission must be ensured for those children who turn three by August 31 of the given year. Younger children may also have the opportunity to start kindergarten, provided the child turns three within six months of admission and a free place remains available after the admission of kindergarten-age children.

This option applies not only at enrollment but also for families applying during the school year. According to the Siófok Kindergarten Center’s information, starting kindergarten is an important milestone in every family’s life.
