Balatonkenese municipality greets the elderly on the occasion of the Day of the Elderly

In Balatonkenese, on the occasion of the Day of the Elderly, the municipality greeted the elderly population as per tradition.

In the festive program, kindergarteners and schoolchildren performed, and artists Bernadett Vágó and Zoltán Miller entertained the attendees.

In his greeting, Mayor Gábor Ambrus spoke in a tone of appreciation and respect: „You are the ones in whose lives our past is present. You know the old face of our settlement, you remember times when everyday life was quite different, and you preserve stories that neither books nor photographs can fully preserve.”
