Balatonkenese Fishing Association Closes Successful and Community-Building Summer Season

In Balatonkenese, the Balatonkenesei Horgász Egyesület participated in three events during the summer season, where gastronomy was accompanied by charitable and support goals.

On July 4, at the Civil Picnic held in Széchenyi Park, members met many visitors and took a group photo with the mayor. On July 18, also there at the HorgÁszok Napja, the carp stew by Polgár Tibor and Zabó Sándor placed third in the cooking competition. The entire proceeds from selling 150 fried bream, 200,000 forints, were donated to the local civil guard.

On August 2, at the Kenese Art Feszt, visitors were served fried bream, generating 60,000 forints in sales, which was set aside to support next year’s event.
