In Balatonfüred, in Kovászna Park, Móczár Gábor Attila, director of the National Heritage Institute, delivered a festive speech in memory of the 1956 revolution and war of independence.

The speaker emphasized that in 1956, alongside freedom, the demand for responsibility also emerged, and this legacy remains valid today. He stressed that in Balatonfüred on October 26, a demonstration was organized at the shipyard, in which shipyard workers, young students, and families from Füred participated. The demands for national independence, press freedom, and free elections were formulated throughout the country.

According to Móczár Gábor Attila, freedom becomes reality in everyday life, when we can say what we think and organize communities. He concluded his speech with a personal memory: his grandfather spent nine months in an internment camp in Tököl and Nagytarcsa from April 1957. At the ceremony, Módri Györgyi and Kőrösi Csaba, actors from the Veszprém Petőfi Theater, and Kalló Zoltán performed.
