Pavement renovation begins on the northern side of Bajcsy Zsilinszky Street in Siófok

The Municipality of Siófok City starts the works “Siófok, pavement renovation on the northern side of Bajcsy Zsilinszky Street east of Sziget Street”.

Within the framework of the investment, the renovation of the pavement, as well as the pruning, professional care and felling of the affected trees will take place. The felled trees will be replaced. The start of the works will be on November 9, 2026 (Monday), and is expected to last until December 15, 2026.

In October 2026, the Hungarian Tree Care Association carried out a visual and instrumental condition assessment based on the 2017 guide. As a result, the felling of 6 trees is recommended due to health and static condition deterioration. On the affected section, 17 trees need to be replaced before reaching maximum lifespan due to the growing site, while 15 trees can approach it with intervention.
